Small weekly group classes, positive reinforcement, and the same trainer the whole way. Most handlers reach really solid obedience over time, depending on the dog and the homework.

Before your first class.
- •Up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, and tick & flea treatment, re-proved once a year.
- •Positive-reinforcement training throughout. Choke chains are discouraged and only ever used in a high-quality smooth-release form if a specific case genuinely calls for it.
- •Basic kit: a flat or half-check collar, a non-slip leash, and a favourite or tug toy.
- •Bring a tug or retrieval toy your dog loves.
R600 a month, or R900 with CGC.

My dog is an adult. Is it too late?
Not at all. Adult dogs learn well; we just meet them where they are.
What's the CGC bundle?
For R900 a month you do obedience and the KUSA CGC ladder together, which is the recognised proof of a well-behaved dog.
Do you use choke chains?
We train with positive reinforcement. Choke chains are discouraged, and only ever a high-quality smooth-release type if a specific case truly needs it.
