A calm dog for the people who need one.
Training a steady, gentle dog to ground a family member at home or bring quiet into a clinic room.

For a household that needs steadying.
- •You want a calm dog to ground an anxious or autistic family member at home.
- •You're a clinician who wants a settled, neutral presence in your consulting room.
- •You want a well-socialised dog for frail-care or hospital visits.
If you need a dog with public-access rights for a disability, that's the Service track, not Therapy.
An all-in programme, at a kind pace.
Therapy is an all-in package: Obedience, the CGC ladder, and therapy-specific training together, about three hours a week split across the weekend so your dog never gets overtired. You handle your own dog throughout, with us coaching.
We're honest about what a dog can and can't do. We train the dog and coach you on how to use it; we don't diagnose, treat, or promise to fix anything. That honesty is the point.
What's in the package.
- •A R350 per hour + R180 arena rental assessment first, to make sure it's the right fit.
- •Obedience plus the CGC ladder plus therapy training, all-in.
- •Training at your dog's pace; some handlers stop once home life is calm, and that's a win too.
Before you start.
- •Therapy and Service handlers start with a R350 per hour + R180 arena rental assessment. We never run a "free" assessment; the fee covers our time and the space.
- •Up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, and tick & flea treatment, re-proved once a year.
- •Positive-reinforcement training throughout. Choke chains are discouraged and only ever used in a high-quality smooth-release form if a specific case genuinely calls for it.
- •Basic kit: a flat or half-check collar, a non-slip leash, and a favourite or tug toy.
- •A suitable, non-reactive temperament, and your dog's bed or blanket at every class.
R1,300 a month, all-in.
Obedience, CGC and therapy training together, about three hours a week. The R350 per hour + R180 arena rental assessment comes first.
Billed monthly, with a R500 annual registration. No upfront ransom, and nothing that locks you in.
A few quick questions.
Is a therapy dog allowed everywhere a service dog is?
No. A therapy dog does not have a service dog's public-access rights. We'll always be clear about which one your goal actually needs.
Can a therapy dog help my autistic child?
It can be a calm, grounding presence at home. We train the dog and coach you; we don't diagnose or treat, and we won't pretend to.
What's the assessment?
R350 per hour + R180 arena rental. We meet you and your dog, talk through your goal, and confirm the fit. It's never free, because it's real time and space.
