    Brand-new puppy? Start here.

    • Your puppy's vaccinations are up to date and it's two weeks past its second booster, or your vet has said it's ready to be out in public.
    • You want a confident, well-socialised dog, not a nervous one.
    • You'd rather get the foundation right than fix problems later.

Older dog who missed puppy class? Head to Obedience instead, it's never too late.

    Confidence first, commands second.

The early weeks shape who your dog becomes. We use it to teach your puppy that the world is safe: new surfaces, sounds, people and dogs, all at a pace that builds confidence rather than fear.

Classes are positive-reinforcement only, and we include the confidence apparatus (tunnels, ramps) that other schools charge extra for. You handle your own puppy from day one, with us coaching beside you.

    What you'll cover.

    • Puppy Level 1 (CGC included) then Level 2 (Obedience), each building on the last.
    • Socialisation, foundation manners, and confidence-building apparatus.
    • A clear path into Basic Home Obedience when your puppy graduates.

    Before your first class.

    • Up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, and tick & flea treatment, re-proved once a year.
    • Positive-reinforcement training throughout. Choke chains are discouraged and only ever used in a high-quality smooth-release form if a specific case genuinely calls for it.
    • Basic kit: a flat or half-check collar, a non-slip leash, and a favourite or tug toy.

Why we wait for the boosters.

Parvovirus kills. We won't expose your puppy before it has built up enough antibodies to resist the deadly diseases. Two weeks after the second booster, or your vet's go-ahead, and we're ready for you.

Puppy Level 1 and Level 2.

Puppy Level 1: R800 a month (CGC included, setting up your puppy for success). Weekly weekend class, capped at eight puppies. Send the form and Diane confirms your class day and time. If she'd like to meet you and your puppy first, she'll arrange it with you.

Puppy Level 2: R600 a month for Obedience only. From here, you pay separately for Obedience, CGC, Therapy or Service, whichever path you choose.

Billed monthly, with a R500 annual registration. No upfront ransom, and nothing that locks you in.

    A few quick questions.

    When can my puppy start?

Once its vaccinations are up to date and it's two weeks past its second booster, or when your vet says it's ready to go out in public. Parvovirus is the reason we wait. Not sure where your puppy stands? Message us and we'll work it out together.

Is it really positive methods only?

Yes. Puppies learn fastest when they feel safe, so there's no harsh correction in our puppy classes.

    What happens after puppy class?

Most puppies move into Basic Home Obedience, and many add the CGC ladder later.
